In 2017, we decided to head south of the border for our winter months. We spent four months exploring baja California from the border on the north to Cabo San Lucas in the south. Follow the "Baja Amigos Caravan" link to see what we found south of the border.

We decided to visit our friends to the north and explore Banff and Jasper National Park in Canada for our 2018 Road Trip!

We've decided to get to know the United States one step at a time. We started out hiking, and quickly discovered that there are places that you can explore that take more than just a hike.  This led us to try rock climbing, canyoneering, mountaineering, four-wheeling, and just about anything outdoors where not all dare to go.  We call it hiking on steroids.  It sounds less intimidating that way!  Here are videos of our adventures we've experienced on land.  In the future we will add more information, maps, etc for anyone interested in our land adventures.

In 2017, we travelled over 6000 miles on our Mega West Coast Road Trip, that started in Joshua Tree, CA in March.  We made it all the way up to the Olympic Peninsula, and came back down through just a small corner of Idaho in August.  Even after 6 months and a lot of miles, both on the road and on the trails, we feel that we barely scratched the surface of this amazing part of the country.                                                                                                                               Click below to learn more
